"The View's" theme for Halloween was "Zombie Reality TV Stars." Also dressed as zombies were the show hosts, including Joy Behar as "Hoarder Zombie," Whoopi Goldberg as "Steven Tyler Zombie," Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck as "The Bachelor Zombie." Guests for the Halloween episode on October 31, 2011, were Kate Gosselin and Robert Kirkman, creator of AMC's "The Walking Dead."
Zombies are really hot this year, but many people may wonder what makes a zombie. Robert Kirkman, the creator of the AMC's "The Walking Dead," the highest rated show on cable, appeared to talk about zombies. He explained that zombies are people who have died, have no brains and want to eat human flesh to survive. As to what makes a zombie, Kirkman could not say for sure, as there could be a number of scenarios.

Kate Gosselin appeared as "Zombie Kate," to talk about her eight children and her reality TV program, "Kate Plus 8," which was cancelled by TLC. Gosselin said that she had been watching the ratings, so the cancellation was not surprising, but it was still a shock to hear the news. Her kids, who have been on reality TV for six years, were saddened by the loss of the crews. Gosselin said the future was scary, as she still has to support her eight children.
Gosselin said that her back-up plan has always been to return to nursing, but the reality of supporting eight children on a nurse's salary is hitting her.
