Kate Gosselin was spotted going through coupons on her way into Bed Bath and Beyond in Reading, PA the other day. Have things gotten so bad for Kate Gosselin that she now has resorted to using coupons?
After the pictures of Gosselin flipping through her coupons hit the net she went to Twitter and claimed that she always has used coupons "even when 'not broke.'" Well, does that mean she is admitting to now being broke, or was she referring to her pre-reality TV days? Regardless, does anyone really believe that Kate Gosselin was using coupons when she was at the height of her "fame?" We are talking about a woman who was so vein, egotistical and worried about her image that she allegedly had plastic surgery done and paid hundreds of dollars for her haircuts. Does that sound like a person who would be caught dead using coupons?
It looks to me that Kate Gosselin is dealing with some tight financial times. Her show has been cancelled, she can't find a job, and based on all the stories that came out while she was on TV, she has probably spent most of the money that her kids made on herself.
No one should be happy about this if it is indeed true that Gosselin is having money troubles. Her kids shouldn't have to suffer because she possibly spent all their money. Let's hope that Kate gets it together for her kids sake. Better yet, let's hope that Kate is just being thrifty now because she has no steady income and that she isn't broke, but is trying to save money until something else comes along.
