NIAGARA FALLS—A woman with three children in tow is suspected of stealing a forgotten cellphone Saturday afternoon in the City Market Mc- Donald’s restaurant, police said.
A Cleveland Avenue man told police he left the restaurant at about 4:30 p. m. and inadvertently left his phone on a table. Upon realizing it a few moments later, he returned to the restaurant and was told by a witness that a woman had picked up the phone and left the building and was now walking a short distance away.
The victim told police he confronted the woman, in her 30s and with three children, but that she denied the theft.
