Detillier: Texans A Bigger Challenge Than Bears - WWL - AM870 | FM105.3 | News | Talk | Sports

WWL NFL analyst Mike Detillier says the Saints will have their hands full this weekend with the Houston Texans rolling into the Superdome.

Detillier says the revitalized Saints defense will face a stiffer test against Houston's Matt Schaub, who is knocking on the door of a breakout season.

"It's a totally different situation at quarterback," Detillier said.  "When you look at the top four quarterbacks in the NFL, (a healthy) Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers...There's a small group right behind them:  Rivers, Roethlisberger, Vick, and Schaub.  I think those four guys are pressing to get into that top list."

Mike says that Schaub will be looking to go long.

"He's been a little bit erratic in the past, but has become a much more consistent quarterback, and can throw the football really well downfield," Detillier said.  "And, he's got great weapons around him, and the best wide receiver in pro football in Andre Johnson."
