ZURICH, Switzerland (defend.ht) - In a day that saw the senior soccer official for Jamaica and several other Caribbean football officials receive bans from FIFA, the President of the Federation of Haitian Football, Yves Jean-Bart, got off with a warning.

The ethics panel met for three days to weigh evidence of Caribbean Football Union members allegedly accepting $40,000 cash payments from Bin Hammam, a candidate looking to lead FIFA, in May.

Jamaica's representative received a 6 month ban. The Dominican Republic and St. Vincent and the Grenadines' representatives received 30-day bans. An 18-month ban was dealt to the British Virgin Islands representative, and about a dozen more received reprimands.

For Haiti, FHF President, Dr. Yves Jean-Bart and for Trinidad and Tobago, warnings were issued. For all others who received bans, they will be reviewed by the ethics committee again, if they seek to reintegrate with their teams.
