Kate Gosselin just may have been dissed by Playboy head honcho Hugh Hefner. What did the elderly Lothario say about the most famous mother-of-eight?
In an article discussing why celebrities like to strip down for Playboy, Hugh Hefner details those who he has turned down (Britney Spears when she went insane) and those he would never consider for his legendary magazine. One of those he wouldn't consider is non other than reality TV mom, Kate Gosselin.
Though Kate has not exactly expressed an interest in doing a Playboy shoot (what would her kids think!?) it's still a blow to the ego when one of the nation's most picky men says you're not good enough (not in those exact words of course!)
Hugh Hefner told the Irish website The Independent Woman that he wouldn't allow Kate Gosselin to grace the pages of his men's mag. Why?
"I don't think she's a celebrity", Hef said.
Ouch. That's got to hurt, especially because Kate seems to consider herself a celebrity.
Don't worry, Kate, you're not the only one Hef wouldn't want. In 2006, he also snubbed Kelly Osbourne because she was too heavy to look sexy in the buff. At least Kate Gosselin wasn't snubbed because of her looks and only because she isn't famous enough.
