It has been reported that Princess Beatrice wants nothing more than a high-flying career in the fashion world.
The young royal who was ridiculed for her unusual taste in wedding hats at the royal wedding of William and Kate in April, has apparently expressed a desire to work in fashion, even though she has only very recently graduated from London’s Goldsmith’s college after successfully completed a History degree.
A friend told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “She is quite interested in fashion. But she is not sure exactly what sort of job she could do. Whatever she decides she would like to continue her charity work too.”
But Before Beatrice sets her sights high for a career, she must undertake a series of internships to gain experience in a variety of areas, this is expected being a royal.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: “Princess Beatrice will, over the coming months broaden her knowledge and experience to complement her position as a member of the royal family. This will involve undertaking a number of internships to develop her experience, particularly in business and philanthropy.
“She will also continue to be involved with her charitable interests and look to progress this work into other relevant areas.”
Looks like the fashion career is on hold for now… but watch this space.
