In the world of celebrity fragrances, it's been a busy few years. Blockbuster movie releases, new albums, and magazine covers don't seem to cut it for stars anymore, and many are coming out with their own perfumes. It seems surprising that Madonna, one of the biggest female artists in the music business, has not yet had her own fragrance, but if the rumors are true, that is about to change!
Coty, the world's largest fragrance company, is apparently in the talks with Madonna to create her first perfume, Women's Wear Daily reports. The cosmetic company has already collaborated with stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion and Beyoncé for their signature scents. Lady Gaga's first fragrance is set to be released in 2012. Madonna seems to be a little late with the trend, but that most likely will not harm her rumored fragrance sales. The name of the planned perfume is said to be Truth or Dare, PopCrush has learned, which is one of her signature phrases. As to what the perfume will smell like, it's all speculation at this point. Neither Coty's or Madonna's representatives have yet to confirm the perfume rumors
Madonna is no stranger to the fashion and beauty world. She has changed her looks more times than people can keep up with, and she recently created a fashion line called Material Girl for Macy's. The fashion line includes clothes, accessories, and cosmetics, such as body lotion, nail polish, and lip gloss. Material girl also includes lingerie in its collection, and Kelly Osbourne has been chosen as the face of the line, which is geared towards young and edgy women. The Material Girl official Web site also includes a blog from Madonna's own daughter Lola, a young fashionista and beauty expert in the making.
