Health insurer Humana Inc. said Friday it will expand the Cincinnati-area operations of its RightSource mail and specialty drug business.
Humana said it leased office space at a complex in Springdale, Ohio. The company will place 650 RightSource employees at the complex. That includes 200 jobs that are new to the Cincinnati area. RightSource serves about 800,000 Medicare and commercial health plan members.
Humana said it has two other locations in Greater Cincinnati. The insurer announced earlier this week it was adding 200 jobs in its hometown of Louisville, Ky. It employs about 35,200 workers overall, according to FactSet.
Shares of Humana rose 38 cents to $78.64 in afternoon trading.
