Japan beats Saudi Arabia 13-4 at Little League WS

(AP) -- Hamamatsu City, Japan, broke open a tight game with an eight-run sixth inning in a 13-4 victory Monday over Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, to advance at the Little League World Series.

With Japan clinging to a one-run lead, Sotaro Yoshida hit a solo homer with one out to start the scoring in the sixth. Mitsuhiro Uchida, Ken Igeta and Iwamoto each added RBI hits in the inning.
