Elvis tribute artist Joseph Hall will be making another trip around Nebraska to celebrate a successful five years of serenading audiences around the world.
"We are celebrating five years, and we are visiting the Wahoo, Lincoln and Grand Island areas," said Kyle Hall, Joseph’s father and manager.
"Joseph has at least 3,000 fans in the state of Nebraska, most of which are in those areas. We have a lot of appreciation for the fans up here. He’s captured so many hearts in Nebraska, and we want to give everyone a chance to see him."
Joseph will perform at 2 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Grand Theatre. Tickets for the show cost $20, and seats are reserved. He will also perform on Dec. 10 in Minden.
"Five years have gone by in what seems like the blink of an eye," Joseph said. "I have been enjoying what I have been doing and am looking forward to coming back to Grand Island."
"Joseph just loves what he does and brings Elvis to so many people," Kyle noted. "During his five years, every year has been stronger than the previous year. We have accomplished more goals this year than we ever have before."
Success has taken Joseph to Branson, Mo., where he has almost completed two seasons of performances and has signed a contract for a third. His Christmas show started on Nov. 1 and runs through Dec. 30.
Joseph said they have added some new stuff to the show that a lot of people haven’t seen.
Like every performing artist, fans have played a big part in what Joseph has been able to accomplish in five years.
"I really have to thank the fans," he mentioned. "If it wasn’t for them, I couldn’t be doing this. It’s their love and support that make if fun to go to work. To me, all the relationships that I have built from coast to coast are just really cool."
Kyle added that people from all 48 continental states have visited the show in Branson, joined the fan club and gone on bus tours.
Joseph said he has done about 950 shows during the five-year run, and it hasn’t gotten old.
"I’m a big Elvis fan, and I really enjoy being a tribute artist," he explained. "Every show is different and feels new with every crowd. The contact and connection with the audience are really important to me. That is why I get excited for every show."
Kyle said Joseph has a lot coming up. They have their first trip to Canada in July and will be headlining one of the largest contests in Memphis for the 35th anniversary of Elvis’ passing.
"I don’t think I could do anything else," Joseph said. "I look forward to coming home. Nebraska is my home state, and in Grand Island, we have such a huge and wonderful fan base."
