THE STAT LINE: Hooper recorded five sacks and contributed to the constant pressure that De La Salle put on San Ramon Valley quarterback Zach Kline in a 40-3 Spartans victory. He finished his impressive night with a highlight on the other side of the ball, hauling in a 44-yard touchdown pass from Bart Houston.
THE STAT LINE: Moli ran for a career-high 169 yards and scored 22 of Fremont's 23 points, including the game-winning touchdown with six seconds left, in a 23-20 victory over Skyline. He ran for 103 of those yards and all three touchdowns in the second half of the come-from-behind win.
THE STAT LINE: Irish won her second East Bay Athletic League singles title in the last three years, beating California's Shannon Hung in the championship 7-5, 6-1. Irish beat Foothill's Shivani Doraiswami 6-0, 6-1 in the semifinals.

Sandri scored a game-high four goals in a 10-5 victory over Mission San Jose, then produced three goals in a 14-3 victory over American as the Colts won the Mission Valley Athletic League title. She also had two goals in an 11-3 loss to San Ramon Valley.
DESHANE HINES, American, football, Sr. -- Hines ran for 128 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 14-12 win over Washington -- their first win over the Huskies since 1987.
CHARLIE WISER, Miramonte, water polo, Jr. -- Wiser, who has scored 23 goals in the Matadors' last 11 games, helped Miramonte win the DFAL title and take fifth at the Finis Memorial Cup by anchoring the defense.
KYRA HOLT, Albany, volleyball, Jr. -- Holt slammed 10 kills and had two blocks and eight digs in a three-game win over Salesian, a key Bay Shore Athletic League victory, then produced 41 kills and 53 digs in five matches at the Northgate Tournament.
LINDSEY WELCH, Northgate, tennis, Jr. -- Welch capped an unbeaten DVAL season with the league singles championship. She beat Berean Christian's Kelly Finnegan in the final, 6-4, 6-3.
