Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls straddles the Canadian-United States International Border, both in the Province of Ontario and the State of New York. The falls attracts some 12 Million tourists annually and is the second largest falls on the globe next to Victoria Falls in southern Africa. One fifth of all the fresh water in the world lies in the four Upper Great Lakes-Michigan, Huron, Superior and Erie. The entire outflow empties into the Niagara River and eventually cascades over the falls. Man has not been able to completely control the flow of the water over the falls, even modern engineers have tried. Much of the water today is fed through underground channels and pipes to nearby hydro electric power stations.

Just weeks after splitting from his wife of 10 years, Jon Gosselin is back in the spotlight with a new career and a new girlfriend. Gosselin, 32, turned up in St. Tropez hand-in-hand with Hailey Glassman, the daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed Kate’s tummy tuck in 2006. The lovebirds spent the weekend along the French Riviera so Gosselin could finalize a deal to design his own line of children’s clothing with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier. Glassman will also have a hand in creating the kid-friendly fashions. “She’ll have a lot of input with Christian,” Gosselin told PEOPLE of Hailey’s involvement. “And I will, too.” And don’t forget the plus eight — Gosselin tells PEOPLE that his eight kids, who spent the weekend with Kate at the family’s Pennsylvania home, will model his designs in ads for the line. Audigier tells PEOPLE that he approached Gosselin with the idea after noticing that the reality show dad often wore his tattoo-inspired T-shirts on Jon and Kate Plus Eight . “He’s huge,” says the French designer, who may also collaborate with Gosselin on a specialty motorcycle collection. “Everyone knows this family. And everyone will know our clothes. They’ll be fun, easy clothes for kids.” But it wasn’t all work for Jon and Hailey. During the extended weekend aboard Audigier’s yacht, Gosselin and Glassman lunched at the Tahiti Club before cruising around the bay in a cigarette boat. The pair also went shopping at some of the high-end boutiques around St. Tropez, including Hermes and Prada. “They couldn’t take their eyes off each other,” a friend of Audigier’s tells PEOPLE. “They looked so happy to just be together.” “I feel very relaxed,” Gosselin told PEOPLE during his weekend escape. NIAGARA FALLS — Police are investigating a robbery in the 1500 block of Pine Avenue. A cashier at a convenience store told officers a male suspect entered her business at 7:54 p.m. Saturday, walked up to the cash register with a bag of potato chips and handed her a note that read, “Give me the money. I have a gun.” The suspect also demanded lottery tickets. The cashier gave the man an undetermined amount of cash in a plastic bag and he ran from the store.

This revision addresses the requirements of the Clean Air Act (CAA) and EPA's rules that require States to prevent any future, and remedy any existing, manmade impairment of visibility in mandatory Class I areas caused by emissions of air pollutants from numerous sources located over a wide geographic area (also referred to as the "regional haze program"). States are required to assure reasonable progress toward the national goal of achieving natural visibility conditions in Class I areas.

Renginyje vakaro svečiai susipažino su Lietuvos dizainerių paroda „Devynių dešimtmečių mada“, kurioje buvo pristatomi garsių mados kūrėjų darbai: dizainerio Juozo Statkevičiaus, Daivos Urbonavičiūtės, Egidijaus Rainio, Sonatos Bylaitės, Lilijos Larionovos, Egidijaus Sidaro, Jolantos Talaikytės, Kristinos Kruopienytės, Julijos Janus ir kitų.

To suck or not to suck: The facts:
One of the big debates within the 12th man is whether or not the Hawks should tank games to obtain a higher draft choice, or if they should trade the house to move up in the draft should they win too many games. You can logically argue both sides of each argument, but we all know the average 12th man is too stubborn to budge their opinion on such a pivotal topic. My general attitude is that winning begets more winning, but that’s just me.
