V roce 2005 společnost Apple žádala o patentování slavné funkce „Slide to unlock“. Dnes, po Å¡esti letech se dočkala uznání tohoto patentu patentovým úřadem Spojených států. Bohužel je možné, že díky tomuto patentu bude mít Android a ostatní OS problémy, protože vÄ›tÅ¡ina telefonů využívá právÄ› tuto technologii.Hovoří se tak o další „patentové válce“.

Australian actor Eric Bana will star as Elvis Presley in a film about the King's unlikely meeting with former US president Richard Nixon.

The film, creatively titled Elvis and Nixon, will tell the true story of how in 1970, Presley wrote Nixon a six-page letter suggesting he be made a "federal agent-at-large" in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. The singer then visited the White House on Nixon's invitation, bringing family photos and a pistol as a personal gift for the president.

In a recent Sesame Street episode, Costello made a guest appearance to sing a duet with Elmo about, in typical Sesame Street fashion, counting to 10 — the problem is, Cookie Monster ate the number 2 and he can’t count any higher. The chosen song was “Monster Went and Ate My Red 2” — a parody of Costello’s classic “(The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes,” which appeared on his 1977 debut My Aim Is True and was also performed on Top of the Pops .
